This was the spring break when Holly got certified in Cattle Artificial Insemination. Her class also went to a slaughterhouse... she was still okay eating meatballs after that!

This is the first time Holly and Matthew took a vacation together! We went to Atlantic City and Ocean City in NJ. We were heading out to a nice romantic dinner, yum!

Holly's favorite animal (besides cats)! She got to feed them almost every day while working at the Safari. Matthew loved them too! Pictured here between us is the only male giraffe, Conan. Georgia is to the right of us. We are feeding them sweet potatoes. They also really loved sugar cones... yes we gave them other nutritious food as well, but these were their favorite snacks, which they would come to eat every hour on the hour, here at the observation deck.

Behind us are 5 of Safari's lion cubs! They were about 1 year here and so sweet. They were just starting the have their manes grow in! We also saw tigers and bears this day (along with so many other animals!)

This concert was a combination of all UMass Amherst Music and Dance groups. There were multiple performances over multiple days. Hearing a 400+ person marching band inside a concert hall was very loud, intense, and amazing! Holly participated in Mutibands in 2016.

Christmas at Matthew's parents' new house in PA! After this picture was taken, we drove down to Matthew's apartment and Holly promptly caught a stomach bug. Matthew ended up also getting it afterwards, and both were stuck sick in the apartment for New Years' Day. In sickness and in health, am I right?

Though we couldn't have a nice New Year's Dinner because of the stomach bug, we eventually were able to recover enough for a meal out. This is where they had a meal that included BOTH a donut and a fried steak for the first time - woah.
