Helpful Driving Comments
From the North/South

I-81 Runs straight through Winchester, VA for easy access to your hotels. From Winchester, take Route 7 East (Harry Byrd Highway) into Berryville and then the fork onto Route 7B to get to the venue, which will be on your right!

From the Airport/Fairfax County

From the Airport, take 28 North until it becomes 7 West (Harry Byrd Highway). From Fairfax County, find your way onto Route 7 West. As you approach Berryville, take Route 7B for 2 miles until you get to the venue, which will be on your left. A lot of the recommend restaurants on this page are easily reachable if you drive Routes 28 to 7 through Herndon and Leesburg. Try and avoid Route 267, as this is an expensive toll road, and the $7+ per trip is not worth the time saved.

While there are three separate Air & Space Museum complexes, we recommend the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. There are two large hangars full of aviation and space artifacts. Admission is free, but the parking fee is $15 per car.

The classic arcade version of golf has a location in Ashburn, VA. You don't need to be a pro to have fun at Top Golf! They'll even serve you food or drinks while you golf, too!

Recommended Food
Taco Bamba

Herndon, VA

Taco Bamba is well regarded as the best tacos in the area! There are many locations, but if you are coming from Dulles Airport, visit the location in Herndon, VA.

We recommend the "Al Pastor." The Habanero-Pineapple salsa makes a great complement, but be warned... it has a kick!

MELT

Leesburg, VA

A Phantom Gourmet alum, MELT is renowned for delicious burgers. They also have a Shake of the Month and a Mac 'n Cheese of the Month that you should be sure to try!

We recommend their Bison Burger, but you are free to build any creation you want!

Sense of Thai

Leesburg, VA

Located in the OneLoudoun area with many other great restaurants, Sense of Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants around! There is free parking at any of the garages in OneLoudoun, and possibly some outdoor events taking place in the center of the plaza, depending on the day's schedule.

We strongly recommend the Street Fried Rice. The sausage chunks in the dish are incredible! Of course, pair it with a Thai Iced Tea, and you are in for a great meal.

Anita's

Leesburg, VA and Herndon, VA

Need a breakfast burrito? Serving phenomenal breakfast burritos through the whole day, Anita's is a lifesaver if you want a quick and cheap bite! A local, family-operated establishment, most people in Northern Virginia are well aware of how amazing these breakfast burritos are. Really, there is no need to peruse the daytime menu - just grab a breakfast burrito with your choice of fillings!

Matthew recommends the "Big Guy," but Holly is a fan of the "Special." Make sure to use the red chile salsa they give you... you won't regret it!

WOOBOI Chicken

Herndon, VA

WOOBOI specializes in one thing, and one thing only - fried chicken! They make sure to give you a piece of chicken that is bigger than the rest of the sandwich, so go hungry.

We recommend the "Sando," as it won't lead you astray. Choose your level of spice from 0 to 5. For your first time, we don't recommend going over a 3, as the scale tends to be hotter than you expect!
